This is a page that will grow as our family tree does.

The name Champ, I am told, means field. Although there are other possibilities offered as well.
At this time I'm not sure  where our clan of Champs originated from. I have traced my great grandfather Edwin T. Champ back to Kentucky, and great grandfather Andrew J. Gill to Tennesee.
